SA Online Community

SA Online has since its inception run community projects. In 2017 we managed to feed hundreds of street children over the festive season. This was only possible due to the support we received from staff, suppliers, clients and friends. Together, we made so many children smile. In 2018 we aim to increase our reach, not only by the number of mouths we manage to feed, but also by raising funds to support a private library. Any donations made to this fundraiser are shared between our two projects as outlined below. We have launched with a running start and already have provision for 80 children and 50 books.

A donation from R25 will make a difference.

Festive Season Food Project:

It costs us R25 to provide a meal to one child on the streets over the holiday season. We normally deliver these meals on Christmas Eve, and they are served with love and a warm heart. This meal (hotdog, chips and juice) mean so much to those who receive it. For some, this is the only meal they receive that day. There are over 7000 street children in Cape Town alone. Please help us make sure there are fewer children with hungry bellies over the Christmas season.

Disadvantaged Students Library Project

This unique library can be found within the walls of the College of Magic, a registered non-profit organisation, which empowers children through training of performance arts and self-motivation skills. This library services hundreds of children, and the ones who benefit most are those who don’t have access to books in their communities. You will be surprised by how many successful South African business people, actors and even comedians have walked through the doors of this organisation.
